I set up The Zunda Files back in 2013 when I was in my final year of a drama degree at Royal Holloway University of London. The aim was to create a space for people like me – (who were just starting out in the arts industry) – to come and find information from people who were already working in it, and also to inspire young people who were considering a future career in the arts (but didn’t really know where to begin!)
I interview creatives working in the arts at both amateur and professional level, and the interviews contain a mixture of advice, information and anecdotes about working in the industry. As of 2017 I also write and publish theatre reviews.
The blog also aims to promote the idea that participating in the arts is beneficial for mental health, rehabilitation, and improving confidence and communication skills for anyone. I regularly retweet useful/ interesting articles on these these topics on my Twitter account (@ZundaFiles).
I live in SW London and teach drama workshops and EFL to people of all ages.
